FrienzMU Reset token
This webpage has been created to provide you some more information about our reset system.
As you might know, with season 4 we are introducing a new means to reset : TFN Reset Token.
This token is used to reset your character, and more.
First of all we will try to explain you how resetting works at FrienzMU in Season 4:
Reset 1-10 - free resets
Resets from 0 up until 10 are 'free' resets, designed to let you create a good build for your character.
It's effectively a trial to see you if you can handle the REAL deal. For every 'free' reset you obtain 400 free leveluppoints,
and all your stats will be changed to 25. At the 10th reset you will have 4000 points to spread over your different features,
and you will be ready for the real hunt!
Resets 11-max
Resets from 11 and higher will require a special item to reset. This item can be found on the reset maps (read more about reset maps HERE)
and it will be the only way you can make yourself stronger. The item you will need to reset is the one shown below:
Resets 11 and higher will no longer take away your stats, and will let you keep your stats, allowing you to exponentially grow your character stronger, but for a price:
How to reset using the TFN Token
- Step 1: Obtain a TFN Reset token ingame.
- Step 2: Put the TFN Reset Token in your ingame vault.
- Step 3: Transfer the item to your WEBVAULT.
- Step 4: Reset your character by clicking the reset option in your control panel.
Tokens can be obtained ingame by hunting in the Swamp of Calmness (lvl 400 only) and by killing event bosses (balgass etc).
On top of that GMs will entertain you with fun events that might earn you a reset token.
It sounds very simple, and it is. You might wonder WHY we want to do such a system, an explanation can be found below:
Why a required item?
The TFN Reset token has been implemented for A LOT of reasons, which I will all show you below - to give you a better understanding:
- TFN Reset token will make the game fair. People who play more have a better chance of reaching the cap.
- TFN Reset token will balance the market:
- The item will have a low droprate - rare item
- The item will be traded for equipment (stimulating the market)
- TFN Reset token will balance the differences between donators and non-donators:
- Donators are shiny, but without hard work they will be killed by other players easily.
- Donated item transfer will be allowed, so you can trade TFN tokens for donates owned by other players.
- TFN Token will NEVER be sold in the donationshop (!)
- TFN Reset token will once again bring a meaning to this game, other than killing mobs for fun.
- TFN Reset token will seperate the boys from the men!
